Hey guys! So, the impossible-to-read font is gone, but now I can't change it >.< Hmm, maybe I should get an admin to change it for me? LOL! So anyway, I've added some polls, please answer them!! Okay, today I'm going to be showing you my prologue to a fan book I've been writing for Erin Hunter, it's based off my role-play Clan on Animal Jam.
Prologe
Striking blue eyes flashed open, they were possessed by a grayish, moonlike furred cat. The cat looked to the entrance to cave of which it was resting in but the moonlight was block by an eerie figure.
"Hello, Moonstar. I wish to speak with you," the eerie figure, which was really a dark grey cat with pale pink spots around her muzzle and streaks of the same pink ran down her body, mewed. "I hope I haven't disturbed your sleeping, but I think this is more important that dozing." Moonstar glared at her, she was dozed and filled with question. The second cat seemed to be shocked with her leader's emotions, did she not want her here?
"Do not worry, Blackpelt. I'm just a little sleepy, it's not the easiest thing leading a Clan. Now what is it you want? I hope you haven't come here just to gossip!" Moonstar yawned, then dipped her head respectfully to Blackpelt. Blackpelt's eyes widened as she realized she'd forgotten to dip her head to the leader. Moonstar's eyes shone with amusement, showing it was fine.
Relaxing, Blackpelt mewed "No, I haven't just come to gossip. Do you think I'd really come here in the middle of the night to gossip? No, I'm not mouse-brained," she looked to her leader's head, but then when she saw it was blank she went on. "StarClan sent me a dream! It was so.." her eyes wondered off trying to find the right words.
Blackpelt glanced at her then at the moon which was shining so wonderfully. The medicine cat unsheathed, and sheathed her claws. "It was so amazing, the there was a silvery cat whom's fur shone like the moon and the stars, and there were cats all around her. Doing different things. It was things that cats in Clans usually do! I could hear what I think was chanting from the cats, I'm not sure what they were saying.. But I'm sure it was a dream from StarClan, Moonstar! Please don't doubt me!" Moonstar looked thoughtful, and amused with Blackpelt's words.
"I would never doubt you, Blackpelt. Even if you've just become a medicine cat, what makes you say this?" Moonstar prompted. Her eyes were steadily looking into Blackpelt's eyes.
"Oh, thanks StarClan! It's nothing, I'm just so.. So new to this medicine cat business! But it's so exciting," Blackclaw was mrrowing with happiness. "What do you think my dream means?"
"Three moons ago, when I became leader, StarClan sent me a dream too, or more of a vision. There were several cats around me. They were like one voice, they told me a silver cat with fur like moonlight has the future of SkyClan in her paws. I think we dreamed of the same cat."
The medicine cat was practically was flying with excitement "So now what? Who could this cat be! Moonstar, who?" the SkyClan leader glared at her surprised, yet you could tell she was looking into something familiar, even though it wasn't in her cave.
"We must wait, of course Blackpelt! Oh, sometimes I wonder why StarClan chose you to be a medicine cat, you're so foolish and stubborn. Even if you don't know it, but at least your not lost in the stars." Blackpelt looked taken back, how could she say something like this? What did she mean "lost in the stars"? Was Moonstar hiding something from her?
Yawning, trying to show how tried she was, Blackpelt murmured "We should get to sleep, our Clan will need us in the morning, and I don't see how we can help them if we're half asleep!" Moonstar nodded, and dipped her head as a farewell. Blackclaw did the same and backed out of the SkyClan leader's den.
As the moonlight filled her den once more, Moonstar began to wonder When will we find more about this cat? How does she hold SkyClan's future in her paws? suddenly raged filled Moonstar's paws I'm leader of SkyClan! I should control our future! soon she drifted off to sleep, as shehead a voice echo in her ears
You do, Moonstar.
She jolted to her feet, and everything seemed to be racing.
